De-clutter your Rear Mudguard with a New Taillight

A taillight with a brake light function is compulsory if you occasionally ride on the road. Also, ride in low light conditions or as a group and feedback from the rear bike light is necessary to avoid crashing into the rider in front.

When replacing a taillight, it makes sense to switch to LEDs. Doing this will provide brighter illumination while drawing less power from the battery.

There is a second factor to consider when choosing a replacement rear bike light. That is how to attach it to your dirt bike. Some riders will use their existing rear mudguard to mount a replacement taillight. Meanwhile, others will go down the integral route.

An integral taillight has a built-in number plate holder. It also features a universal fixing bracket that attaches under the mudguard. Even if your dirt bike has a number plate holder, LED taillights are smaller than stock items. This feature means an integral taillight unit is an excellent way of tidying up the rear of your bike.
